In keeping with the spirit of this Christmas season, we have received several reports from Cuba about the various relief efforts we have been promoting recently.
We want to share them with you, so that we can all rejoice in what God has been doing..
Community Kitchen Project Alquizar Baptist Church
This is a project we are carrying out through the Hope Fleet Ministry.
Pastor Rances Tomás writes to us from the province of Artemisa:
Brother, now we have come from feeding a large group of people.
Due to the condition of these communities we decided to go to 3 new communities because we learned that they are in very bad condition. My brother, the condition there is terrible!
These are the 3 worst communities I have seen in all this time.
The conditions are horrible in this place. God brought us there.
One is called Finca Mirta but it is known as «Los Quimbos» and «Llegaypon».
We have not yet reached even 50 percent of the communities.
The only community where all the houses are covered is in El Cedro because it is a place with only 30 or so houses, but these places are catastrophic.
We hope that God continues to use us in this ministry, because it has been a door of blessing for these people.
Rances shares with us these photos of the work that the church is developing.

Container with Aid for Churches sent in August, 2024.
After several months of waiting due to transportation difficulties, the churches have begun to receive the audio equipment that was sent in the container.
This was a project that we carried out thanks to the collaboration of Macedonian Call Ministries, which supported the shipment of the container and also the acquisition of this equipment and the coordination of the Worship Ministry of the Baptist Convention of Western Cuba.

From the Third Baptist Church of San Cristobal, Pastor Carlos Daniel Iglesias sends us photos. In them, he shows us the new audio equipment. This equipment was received through the container sent and the help of Hope Fleet.

In the current circumstances of energy crisis, these devices are essential for churches, allowing them to hold their worship services even in the absence of electricity, by having their own rechargeable batteries.
We pray for financial resources to continue helping churches with much needed items like these.
Help for Pastoral Families
This was a project that we started after the impact of Hurricane Oscar in eastern Cuba. Hope Fleet has been vital for developing this project.
In contact with Pastor Mayker Batista Mellina of Manzanillo, we are giving financial aid to 13 pastoral families affected by the hurricane and by the energy crisis that Cuba is experiencing.
This was a project designed for three months, but thanks to the generosity of brothers and friends, we think it can be extended for another three months. Glory to God!
Pastor Yonelis Columbié, from the Mandinga Baptist Church in Maisí, Guantánamo province writes to us:
May the God of all Grace and Peace Bless you Always. My wife, our little boy, and I are very grateful for the generous help that you have sent us through Pastor Meyker Batista Mellina. May God always reward the work of your hands. Philippians 4:19.
Pastor Ogleidis Vaquero of the Second Baptist Church of San Antonio del Sur in Guantanamo writes to us:
Blessings my brothers, writes the pastor of the 2nd church in San Antonio del Sur, thanking God and the Hope Fleet ministry for the financial help I have received from you. May the Lord bless you abundantly.
Pastor Reidis Mustelier, from the El Previo Baptist Church in Guantanamo writes to us:
I thank God and Hope Fleet for the support I have received. It has been very helpful in these difficult times we are living in. Thank you for helping me. I will be praying for you, your families and your ministries. God bless you.
